There’s very little that has changed since cattle rancher Charles Goodnight first helped to pioneer this area almost a century ago. The Hideaway offers a natural setting that creates the perfect environment for prayer and meditation. From the brilliant sunrises to the glowing sunsets, you are surrounded by the majesty of God’s awesome creation. You can discover an intimate, quiet time from the patio area as you watch the sun rise, or enjoy a peaceful hike where you might spot some of our native residents; a mule deer, turkey, or bobwhite quail.

Here there are no appointments. No calendars. No deadlines or jobs. There is only serenity, peace, and a place to be healed, refreshed, and restored.

From the moment you walk through the front doors, you will become a special and honored guest at the Hideaway. The rustic accommodations are detailed with comfort and convenience. Each of the five guest rooms are furnished with plush beds, personal bathrooms, and a patio overlooking the panoramic canyon. You can also look forward to hearty meals and friendly service from our host couple.
