Nestled against the rim of the Palo Duro Canyon, near the city of Amarillo, The Hideaway is a sequestered haven. There’s very little that has changed since cattle rancher Charles Goodnight first helped to pioneer this area almost a century ago. The Hideaway offers a natural setting that creates the perfect environment for prayer and meditation.

From the brilliant sunrises to the glowing sunsets, you are surrounded by the majesty of God’s awesome creation. You can discover an intimate, quiet time from the patio area as you watch the sunrise, or enjoy a peaceful hike where you might spot some of our native residents; a mule deer, turkey, or bobwhite quail.

Here there are no appointments. No calendars. No deadlines or jobs. There is only serenity, peace, and a place to be healed, refreshed, and restored.
